Leroy W White

Leroy W. White, age 76 of Warren, Ohio, died on April 8, 2024 after a battle with cancer.

He was born on July 14, 1947 in Warren, the son of the late Carl and Myrtle White.

Leroy was an honorably discharged US Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.

Leroy worked and retired from General Motors. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a snowbird, with his wife-whom he adored, as they wintered in Lakeland, Florida. His passion was building model airplanes and anyone that ever visited their home would know.

Survivors include his loving wife, the former Sherry Freeman, whom he married on May 14, 1984; his daughters, Tina White and Wendy (Terry) Munroe; his step-daughter, Judy (Brian) Carey; his step-son, Terry Daugherty; his grandchildren, Alex Kubilis, Anthony Kubilis, Ashlee Kubilis, Heather Carey and Joshua White; and several great-grandchildren.

Also surviving is his sister, Betty Carrol.

Other than his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Mr. White will be cremated and there will not be any calling hours or services.
