Warren – Phillip R. Welch passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Phillip was born September 14, 1958 in Akron a son of the late Grady Welch, Sr. and Elizabeth Hopson.

He had worked for Kelch Aluminum for many years.

Phillip will be sadly missed by his fiancée Cynthia Fulton; his son: Phillip Brown of Tennessee; one brother: Grady Welch, Jr. of Cincinnati; two sisters: Rosalee Welch-Thomas of Akron and Jacqueline Welch-Grier of Akron; and four grandchildren.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents; one sister and one brother.

Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio. 

Funeral services will 12:00 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2016 at House of the Lord, 1650 Diagonal Road, Akron, Ohio 44320 with Pastor Bishop Josephus Johnson officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to the services Thursday at the church.

Interment will follow at Mt. Peace Cemetery in Akron.
