Louis T. Potter Jr. of West Farmington, Ohio entered peacefully into rest on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 1:30pm, from complications from kidney failure. He was 88. Louis was born the son of the late Louis T. Potter Sr. and Minnie (Schmida) Potter on May 24, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio. Louis was a lifelong bachelor who served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a graduate from Case Western Reserve University with a degree in accounting. He worked as a controller for a number of Cleveland Companies including Bobbie Brooks Corporation       

            Louis leaves behind many cousins and neighbors who cared about him even though he had strong unwavering opinions. He was a Trump supporter and when he was told in the hospital that Trump won, he giggled. Louis received excellent care in recent years and weeks from Fresenius Medical Center where he received dialysis for the past five years, St Joseph’s Hospital 4th floor nurses and staff and the nurses and staff of the Hospice Center of the Valley. Special thanks also goes to his attorney Patricia A. Knepp of Warren and more recently  Allison M. McMeechan of Reminger in Cleveland. A  very special thanks goes to the Veterans Administration Doctors, Nurses and support staff.

            A Private Ceremony will be held, there will be no visitation.

            In lieu of flowers it is requested that people plant flowers, shrubs and gardens in his memory, which he cherished. Also donations may be made to the Hospice of the Valley’s Hospice House, 5190 Market Street, Youngstown, Ohio 44512.
