Larry M. Smith, 34, of Warren, passed away in an automobile accident December 20, 2017 in Warren.  He was born April 6, 1983 in Warren, the son of Larry M. and Benita J. (Stella) Smith Rodgers, and had lived in the area all his life.

A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Larry’s work was painting cars.  He attended Alpha and Omega Seventh-Day Adventist Church, and enjoyed working on cars, sports and his children.

He is sadly missed by his mother, Benita J. Rodgers of Huntsville, Ala.; his grandmother who helped raise him, Argie L. Stella; three children: Elizah and Tyler Smith, and Mauriah Anderson, all of Warren; the mother of Elizah and Tyler, Lisa Crusan; the mother of Mauriah, Christina Anderson; three sisters: Carmanita Stella and Alexandria Rodgers, both of Huntsville, and Tracie Liptrot of Warren; and a brother, Eric (Brikita) Smith of Huntsville. 

Preceding him in death are his father, Larry M. Smith; his stepdad who raised him, Walter P. Rodgers; and a brother, Jesse Daniel.
