Warren – Karoly J. Kis passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Cleveland Clinic. Karoly was born July 29, 1927 in Hungary a son of the late Karoly J. and Rosalia Kis. He retired from Republic Steel after many years of service and had attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Warren. Karoly will be missed by his wife of 54 years, the former Adele Maggio; his son: Karoly J. Kis of Hungary; his daughters: Mary Kis of San Diego, California, Rosalee Kis of Niles, Jacqueline Kis of Warren and Mariah Reid of Warren; his brother: Jim Kis of Hungary and Jim Davis of Warren; his sister: Irene of Hungary; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Karoly is preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2016 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Rd. NE, Warren, where a Funeral Services will be offered at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Bernard R. Schmalzried officiating. Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.
