Howland – Judy L. Joseph passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at her home.

Judy was born September 28, 1946 in Warren a daughter of Robert Capron and Gloria (Villers) Capron Brown.

A 1965 graduate of Leavittsburg High School, she retired in 2001 from Community Skilled Nursing Center as a Nursing Assistant.

Judy enjoyed reading romance novels. 

 Judy will be sadly missed her daughters: Sonia L. (Mark) Crespo of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Cathy A. (Keith) Thomas of Newton Falls; her sons: Jerry W. (Deb) Joseph II of Hooper, Utah and Edward D. (Jennifer) Joseph of Niles; sisters: Linda Slater of Warren and Karen Rickard of Warren; brothers: Eugene Capron of Champion and Robert Capron of Cortland;  five grandchildren: Kyleigh Crespo, Paige Crespo, Brandon Thomas, Colin Joseph, and Tim Rodarte; and two great grandchildren: Gracie Jane and Jonas. 

Judy is preceded in death by her parents; step father Kenneth Brown; and her husband of 45 years Jerry Wayne Joseph.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Judy’s name.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio with Pastor Mary Ann Short officiating.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Meadow Brook Memorial Park in Champion.
