Warren – James A. West, Jr. passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. James was born February 6, 1949 in Warren a son of the late James A. and Annie E. Clark West, Sr. A Veteran of the United States Army, James retired from the United States Post Office. James was united into marriage with the former Virginia Dowell, on August 15, 1987 and together they spent 28 loving years. James will be sadly missed by his wife Virginia; his daughter: Marlene J. McCall of Charlotte, NC; one son: James A. West III of Charlotte, NC; two brothers: Cleveland Johnson of Warren and Sandy West of Cleveland; one sister: Mary West of Akron; and two grandchildren. James is preceded in death by his parents and one brother. The family will receive friends at James’ home, 1635 Hamilton St. SE, Warren, Ohio. Funeral services will be 12 noon, Friday, June 3, 2016 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Rd NE, Warren, Ohio 44483 with Reverend Dr. Avan M. Odom officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the services Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Park with Military Honors.
