James R. Shubert, 33, of Warren, passed away Friday December 22, 2017 in the parking lot of Trumbull Memorial Hospital, the result of a drug overdose.  He was born August 20, 1984 in Warren, the son of Bradley Shubert and Barbara (Howell) Shubert Mechling, and had lived in the area all his life.

A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, James worked primarily installing tile. He could do or fix most anything, and enjoyed music, skateboarding, and camping.

Fond memories of James live on with parents, Darrell and Barbara Mechling of Warren; two sisters, Ashley Shubert of Austintown and Kaitlin Mechling of Warren; and many special friends.

Calling hours for James will be 3:00 to 5:00 pm Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home.  Please come to greet the family and share your special memory.
