Los Angeles, California – Ernest Moore Jr., formerly of Warren, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at his home in Los Angeles. Ernest was born March 28, 1946 in Sunnyside, Mississippi, a son of the late Ernest and Mary F. Bush Moore, Sr. He was graduate of Warren JFK in 1966 where he participated in basketball, football, track & field and glee club. A veteran of the United States Air Force, Ernest retired from the Long Beach VA Administration Hospital after many years of service. Ernest is survived by his wife Londean Holden, whom he married in 1992; and sons, Aaron Moore of Palmdale, California, Ernest Moore III of Atlanta, Georgia and Emmit Moore of Atlanta, Georgia. Four brothers, Eddie Lee Moore Sr., Albert L. Moore Sr., both of Warren, William Moore of Atlanta Georgia, and Fred Moore Sr. of Warren, two sisters, Mrs. Juanita M. Coleman and Ms. Helen Andrews, both of Warren; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Ernest is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Luella White and Earnesteen M. Hurt; and three brothers, Sherman Moore Sr., Harry James Moore Sr. and Jack Moore Sr. Family will receive friends at the home of his brother Albert L. and Jackie Moore, Sr. at 851 Wildwood Dr. NE, in Warren. Funeral serves will be 11:00 am Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Greater Apostolic Church, 3571 Tod Ave. NW, Warren, Ohio. Friends may call on hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the church. Interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Park in Warren with Military Honors.
