Elizabeth "Liz" White Obituary

Elizabeth M. “Liz” White, 67, of Windham, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 3, 2018 UH-Portage in Ravenna. She was born March 26, 1951 in Clarksburg, W. Va., the daughter Quentin Kenneth and Betty (Fetty) Payne, and had lived in Ohio most of her life.

A graduate of Windham High School, Liz loved her life as a wife and homemaker. She was a member of Warren Baptist Temple and enjoyed yard sales, teaching children in church, and family outings.

Fond memories of Liz live on with her beloved husband, Edward T. White, whom she married 40 years ago on April 8, 1978; two sons, Kenneth (Judith) of Cortland and Eddie White of Newton Falls; two grandchildren, Lillian and Jaxson White; and a brother, George Payne of Salem.

Preceding her in death are her parents and two sisters, Charlotte Nicholas and Patty Payne.

Services are 11:00 am Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Warren Baptist Temple, with Rev. James Dittmar officiating. Burial will follow at Windham Township Cemetery. Friends may call 5:00 to 7:00 pm Friday and 10:00 to 11:00 am Saturday at the church.
