Burley M. Grim, 81, of Cortland, passed away peacefully Friday, December 8, 2017 at his residence.  He was born November 9, 1936 in Elizabeth, W. Va., the son of Charles and Elma (Friend) Grim, and had lived in Ohio since 1964.

Burley worked in the steel mills and had attended Bolindale Nazarene Church.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Fond memories of Burley live on with his wife, Nancy L. (Bowser) Grim, whom he married October 18, 1964; five children: Denise Bradley of Cortland, Wanda Grim of Mercer, Pa., Carl (Kim) Grim of Ripley, W. Va., Christine Horstman of Cortland, and Diane Bedlion of Niles; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Glenn and Philip (Linda) Grim, both of Warren. 

Preceding him in death are his parents; a sister, Kathleen Johnson; and two brothers, Olen and Dale Grim.

Per his request, cremation is taking place.  Services are private.
