Miss Sallie and family, Bethany was a member of our Rotary Club in Leavenworth, Kansas, before moving to Atchison; although we did not know Bethany well, we did want to extend our sympathy to you all as we know you will miss her dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this difficult time.

Dear family. Please accept my sincere condolences. The painful sting of death can be overwhelming especially when it tragically effects our children. Please know that Jehovah God understands your pain and promises to be "near to the brokenhearted and those crushed in spirit."(Psalms 34:18-19). Also God promises permanent consolation when he will "wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more!"(Revelation 21:3-4)jw.org

Bethany was an amazing young woman who opened many doors for her students at the Indianapolis Metropolitan High School. We are heartsick to hear of her passing and pray for her family in their terrible loss.

I am so very sorry for your tragic loss of Bethany. My heart is saddened even though I did not know Bethany. I lost my husband in a plane crash as well. I feel your pain and want you to know I am thinking of you and praying for your heart to heal in time. May God bless Bethany and all of you.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Bethany was a true hero for all young girls to look up to. Aviation lost a leader, a woman whose devotion to aviation and women who fly was beyond all measure. Not only was she the kind of person aviation dearly needed, she was, as well, the kind of person this world sorely needs more of. As great as our loss is in the aviation community, it pales in comparison to your loss of this beautiful and loving member of your family. My prayers are with all of you who knew Bethany as a daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
