Niles – Almeda Elizabeth Harker was Born in Niles Ohio on February 18, 1922 to Charles & Zena Williams. Almeda passed away, Monday, May 23, 2016 at Grace Woods in Niles. Graduated from Niles McKinley High School in 1939. Married to Harry (Pete) Harker in June of 1941. Member of First Christian Church in Niles. Preceded in death by parents, three sisters, husband Pete Harker, daughter Elizabeth (Betty) Lawrence, son Harry (Butch) Harker and Grandson Michael Sweet. Surviving children are Ginny Sweet (Dick) and Jim Harker (Sharon).Almeda also leaves three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Crossroads Hospice, 9775 Rockside Rd #270, Valley View, Ohio 44125 in Almeda’s name. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio with Reverend Dr. Bernard Oakes officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Niles City Cemetery.
